New chapter for Woolston

test

National Conference League side Woolston Rovers have appointed Lee Westwood as their new head coach after Mike Grady‘s departure.

Westwood has coached in the Warrington Wolves Academy for several years, and he also had a successful spell at Bank Quay Bulls, helping them land several trophies during his tenure.

Rovers club chairman Paul Bray feels that Westwood shares his ambitions.

“The appointment of Lee as head coach, with all his experience and knowledge, is a continuing step in the development of the club as a whole,” said Bray.

“We look forward to working together to drive the club back up to the top echelons of the community game ladder at both senior and junior level.”
