Catalans back-rower Benjamin Julien has signed a new two-year deal with the Dragons.

Julien, 24, joined from Warrington ahead of the 2018 season.

Coach Steve McNamara said: “Benjamin is a young French player who is an important member of our squad.

“There is still lots of improvement to come in Ben’s game and we look forward to working with him to achieve his potential.”

The France international came through the ranks at hometown club Avignon, before moving to the UK with North Wales Crusaders in 2015.

He made 36 appearances for Warrington, as well as appearing five times on dual-registration with Rochdale.

Julien played in all three games for France at the 2017 World Cup and has six caps in total.
