Bradford’s new owners have received the green light from the RFL.

The new Board of Directors – Mark Moore, Andrew Calvert, Ian Watt and Ryan Whitcut, together with CEO Robbie Hunter-Paul – met with the RFL last Tuesday to discuss their business plan and proof of funding, and the RFL has formally given the go ahead for them to proceed.

The RFL’s Director of Licensing and Standards, Blake Solly said: “The RFL Board is pleased to conclude the process and confirm the change of control has been approved.  We look forward to working with the New Board as they work hard to improve the position of the Bulls.”

The change of ownership came about following the departure of Omar Khan, who saved the club from liquidation just over 12 months ago.

New director Moore added: “We were confident that we had provided the Governing Body what they required to allow us to take control of the club but the formal ratification given to us today means we can carry on with the process of rebuilding the Bulls brand.”
