Dewsbury coach Neil Kelly will leave the Rams at the end of the season due to personal reasons.

Kelly was appointed head coach of the Rams midway through the 2017 and has done a tremendous job at the Tetley’s Stadium, guiding them to Championship safety two years on the spin.

Also leaving the club will be assistant coach Paul Delaney, who has been Kelly’s right-hand man for the last 18 months.

On leaving Dewsbury, Kelly said: “I would like to place on record how proud I have been to represent the Dewsbury Rams as coach and would like to thank Mark Sawyer for the opportunity.

“I would also like to place on record to the players, supporters and staff who I wish every good fortune in the future.”
