Nathan Mason returns to Leigh

Leigh have signed prop Nathan Mason on a one-year contract from London.

The 26-year-old enjoyed a spell with Leigh in 2018, scoring six tries in 22 games. He joined London in Super League last season but will head back to the Centurions ahead of 2020.

Leigh coach John Duffy said: “Nathan is a player that has been at the club before and everyone speaks highly of him.

“I watched him quite a bit last season and I thought he played really well in the 1895 Cup Final.

“He’s a huge human being so to get him and the likes of Tom Spencer in the front-row with Danny Addy involved will make us one of the biggest packs in the league.

“He’s got to have a good off-season and make sure he does the right things but I’m really looking forward to working with him.”
