Murphy signs for Bulls

Bradford Bulls have today announced that Back Row Forward Jobe Murphy has signed a new two year full time contract with the club.

Murphy, who is 18 years old and hails from Brighouse, joined the Bulls from Halifax based amateur side Siddal and has impressed everyone during his time at the club.

He had a year left of his previous deal but the Bulls have torn that agreement up in favour of the new two year contract.

Commenting today Bulls Head of Youth Paul Medley said:

“Jobe has made great strides since joining the club and this new contract is a just reward for the effort he has put in.  He is very passionate about the club and never gives less than 100%, both on the field and in training and we feel he will continue the progress he has made and kick on to the next level in a full time environment.

We made a promise to Jobe when he signed, as we do with all our Juniors, that we would review his contract during its tenure and we are delighted to be able to reward him for his efforts with this new deal.”

The club last month signed his Cousin, Oliver Roberts, also from Siddal, on a three year contract.
