Mounis and Casty to share Catalans captaincy

Catalans have appointed Greg Mounis and Remi Casty as co-captains for the 2015 season.

Casty, 29, was club captain in 2012 and 2013 before moving to the NRL with Sydney Roosters.

Mounis, who has been co-captain for the past four seasons, is the first player to have played more than 200 Super League games for the Dragons.

Coach Laurent Frayssinous said: “It was not a hard decision for me, Rémi and Greg were an obvious choice to everyone in this role.”

“Both are natural leaders and are highly respected players within our group. “

“They are an example on and off the field.”

“They will be heavily supported by a number of other senior players who show great leadership.”
