Mossop yet to hit best Wigan form

Wigan forward Lee Mossop has acknowledged that he is yet to hit his best form so far this season.

The Cumbrian has featured in the Warriors’ last three games, coming off the bench.

“I want to get back to my best, I’m nowhere near that yet,” he told Wigan Today.

“Finishing the season gave me a lot of confidence, I’ve still got a lot to work on. But I think I’m getting there.”

Mossop is hoping to feature again when Widnes visit the DW Stadium on Thursday evening.

“We’re really going to be pushed,” he said.

“Bbut we’re confident in our defence and if we can carry that on – and our attack can click – hopefully we can get one over them.”
