Morrison says Rams are in a good place

Dewsbury Rams coach Glenn Morrison praised his defence following his side’s 46-8 rout over Whitehaven on Sunday.

The win took the side upto fourth in the table and Morrison said his side are in a “good place” following the win.

The Rams ran in eight tries and conceded just two in the game.

He said: “It has been coming for a while, we’ve been working on our attack and it shows that when we hold on to the ball we can play footy.

“To hold them to nil in the second half was great, we’ve been defending really well, but we’ve been having to do too much of it. On Sunday we didn’t. I am really pleased with the way we are going and it’s a good place to be at the moment.”

The only minor concern is that Karl Pryce suffered a slight shoulder injury but is expected to shake it off and be fit for Sunday’s trip to Swinton Lions.
