Morris sidelined with knee injury

Brett Morris‘ knee injury will sideline him for at least two weeks, Dragons medical staff have reported.

Morris limped off the field midway through the first half of his side’s 24-18 defeat to Manly at Kogarah on Monday and has undergone arthroscopic surgery to remove torn cartilage.

He had been named in the Dragons line up to face Gold Coast on Sunday by coach Steve Price, but will instead be out for at least two weeks.

“We expect his rehabilitation time frame to be between two to four weeks dependent on how he recovers from surgery,” Dragons High Performance Director Andrew Gray told the club’s official website.

Coach Price has yet to name a replacement winger for the match at Skilled Park.
