More half-back injury woe for Wigan

Both of Wigan’s first choice half-backs are now on the sidelines after stand-off Blake Green suffered an ankle injury.

Green, 26, picked up the knock in the 46-14 win over his former club Hull KR on Sunday, and is expected to be out for up to six weeks.

Scrum half Matty Smith is already sidelined, meaning coach Shaun Wane may have to turn to youngsters Sam Powell and George Williams for the game against London Broncos on Saturday.
