Castleford forward Junior Moors will out of the action for the next six weeks as he recovers from a broken hand.

Moors was injured in the loss to St Helens. Ben Roberst and Grant Millington also picked up knocks in the defeat.

“Junior has had an operation on his hand and he will be out for potentially six weeks which is a tough one to take, because he’s been playing really well.” Tigers coach Daryl Powell said.

Ben Roberts has got a foot injury that is not broken which is good news, but he has a ligament tear. We are not reallysure on the severity, the feedback from our physio Matty Crowther is that we’ll have to gauge off Benny just how long he might be out, but it is not as bad as it could have been at this point.”

Grant Millington hyperextended his elbow and again there is no break in there but there is a rupture of a ligament which is not great, but hopefully he won’t need surgery and again it will depend on how he feels and when the soreness subsides.”
