Moore blow for Broncos

Struggling London could be without hooker Scott Moore for up to five matches after he was charged for an incident in the match against Salford at the weekend.

Moore, 26, will face the RFL Disciplinary Panel on Tuesday evening on the Grade D charge of making a dangerous contact on Darrell Griffin in the 56th minute of Saturday’s game at The Hive.

The normal suspension tariff for a Grade D offence is 3-5 matches, and the same fate awaits Catalan prop Julian Bousquet, after he was charged for making a dangerous contact on Jordan Tansey in the Dragons’ defeat to Castleford.

Also up in front of the disciplinary panel is Wakefield centre Dean Collis, who faces a 2-3 match ban for a dangerous contact on Lee Gaskell.

Hull KR‘s Justin Poore and Huddersfield’s Joe Wardle are up for punching offences in their draw on Sunday, while Wigan’s Eddy Pettybourne has been cited for a Grade B dangerous tackle on Sydney RoostersShaun Kenny-Dowall during the World Club Challenge.

Of those summoned, Collis and Pettybourne have the option of an early guilty plea.
