Moore and Fa’alogo head for Huddersfield exit

Hooker Scott Moore and back-rower David Fa’alogo are among five players who are leaving Huddersfield at the end of the season.

Moore, 24, re-joined the Giants for a second spell in April after leaving Widnes by mutual consent, having only joined the Vikings from St Helens in the close season. He is believed to have offers from Australia.

Kiwi forward Fa’alogo, who has spent the past three seasons at the John Smith’s Stadium after arriving from South Sydney Rabbitohs, has also not been offered a new deal, and neither has youngster Ross Peltier, who has already agreed a deal with Championship side Keighley.

The Giants did offer new deals to Adam Walker and Tommy Lee, but both have been rejected.

In line with RFL regulations, Huddersfield can now claim compensation from any club who signs Walker, for the “six years development that club have put into him.”

Lee is understood to have fielded offers from other Super League sides, with London Broncos his most likely destination.
