Moon and James sign for Salford

Versatile Australian Joel Moon and veteran Welsh prop forward Jordan James have both penned two-year deals with the Salford City Reds.

23-year-old Moon will arrive in time for the 2012 season having had spells with New Zealand Warriors and the Brisbane Broncos.

The utility player, who can provide cover at half-back, center, second row or loose forward, featured for the Indigenous All Stars side in 2011.

The club have also announced the signing of much travelled prop forward Jordan James from Crusaders on a two-year deal.

The 31-year-old has had spells with Sheffield, Castleford, Swinton, Wigan, Crusaders and South Wales Scorpions as well as making 20 appearances for Wales at international level.

Moon and James join fellow new signings Shanna McPherson and Ben Gledhill as the reds look to bolster their squad for the 2012 season when they play in their new home, the Salford City Stadium.
