Monaghan linked with Catalans and Salford

Warrington winger Joel Monaghan is a transfer target for Catalans Dragons and the Salford Red Devils, according to local reports in Manchester.

The Manchester Evening News reports that the Australian winger is on the move at the end of the season.

The report claims that Monaghan has met with Salford director of rugby Tim Sheens.

His brother Michael is on the coaching staff at Catalans, who apparently made a move for him earlier in the season.

The Wolves blocked that approach, with Catalans signing Pat Richards instead.

But it seems that the French outfit have not given up hope of snaring the wing man.
