Warrington winger Joel Monaghan has stated a hope that he will be in the UK for several more years, ahead of his final game for Wire against St Helens on Thursday evening.

The Wolves have nothing left to play for apart from pride, but Monaghan maintains he has enjoyed his time at the club.

“Hopefully we can got to St Helens and do a good job as it would be a good way to go out with all the boys leaving,” he told BBC Radio Merseyside.

“When I came over, straight away I knew I was going to stay long term with the atmosphere and style of rugby.

“I could live over here, it’s a great place – it’s five years so far and hopefully they’ll be a few more.”
