Minichiello not underestimating Warrington

Hull back-rower Mark Minichiello says his side won’t be underestimating winless Warrington when they travel to face the Wolves on Saturday.

The Airlie Birds will be hunting their fifth successive victory in Super League, which would send Tony Smith’s men to a seventh consecutive Super League defeat.

He told the club’s official website: “You can’t afford to underestimate a team like Warrington – they’ve got class players all across the park.

“They can be hard to stop on their day and it’s only a matter of time before they come good, hopefully they won’t come good against us on Saturday.

“We know we’ve got to turn up with the right attitude and make sure we complete our sets if we are to get the two points.”

Hull beat Warrington in the Challenge Cup final at Wembley last August, and recorded two league wins over the Wolves in the first phase of last season.

They are starting to build some momentum, having beaten champions Wigan 22-20 last weekend, while Warrington suffered their sixth straight loss at the hands to St Helens.
