Minichiello looking for home comforts

Mark Minichiello says Hull FC must make the most of home advantage when Leigh visit the KCOM Stadium on Friday.

The Black and Whites crashed 45-0 against St Helens last weekend and Minichiello admits they can’t afford a similar display against the Centurions.

“They’ve got quality players across the board,” he told the club’s official website. “They haven’t gone too well so far, but you definitely can’t take them lightly.

“They’re a quality team and they’ve shown in patches this year they can match it with the best.

“We’re concentrating on ourselves because we were poor last week and we need to improve across the board this week, so our main focus is on what we need to do this week to get a result.

“We definitely need to bounce back from last week’s poor efforts. We were pretty poor and the result told the story.

“We need to bounce back, especially at home, and get a good result.”
