Minichiello appointed as Italy assistant

Anthony Minichiello has been appointed as assistant coach to the Italian national side.

The NRL veteran, who represented Australia during his career, as well as playing for Italy at the 2013 World Cup, wil assist head coach Cameron Ciraldo.

“I was privileged to have been involved in the previous Rugby League World Cup as a player,” said Minichiello.

“So to now have the opportunity to be in the Italian coaching ranks is something I’m really excited about.”
