David Mills was last week rewarded for his pre-season form with a one-year deal at Leigh Centurions.
Mills, 29, has Super League experience with Widnes, Harlequins and Hull KR, clocking up nearly 150 games, and has featured in all three pre-season games for the Centurions.
The Welsh international also has an option to stop on with the Centurions in 2012 and Millward was delighted that the forward has agreed to stay.
“His form has been good in the pre-season, he adds size to us, he adds experience and he’s been very well accepted by the other players.” the Australian coach said.
“He will prove to be very valuable in the forthcoming Northern Rail Cup and Co-operative Championship season.”
