Mikey Lewis extends Newcastle stay

Hull KR half-back Mikey Lewis will extend his loan to Newcastle on a week-by-week basis.

The 17-year-old has recently enjoyed a one-month loan spell at Thunder, scoring two tries and kicking 11 goals in three appearances.

Lewis has yet to make his first-team debut for Hull KR, but he looks to spend the rest of the season at Newcastle.

In a statement released by Newcastle, it read: “After impressing throughout his month loan spell, Mikey Lewis looks to extend his loan spell with Thunder on a week-by-week basis.”
