Catalans hooker Micky McIlorum and Wakefield forward Jay Pitts have avoided suspension for fighting in their side’s Challenge Cup tie at the weekend.

The pair were sin-binned after clashing during the Dragons’ 36-24 sixth-round victory at Huddersfield on Saturday.

Both were charged with a Grade A offence of punching but the Rugby Football League has confirmed the sin-binnings were deemed sufficient punishment after a disciplinary review.

Catalans’ Mickael Goudemand has also avoided suspension for a minor offence.
