Forward Mickael Simon has signed a new two-year contract extension with Super League side Catalans Dragons.

The French international will remain at Gilbert Brutus Stadium until the end of the 2020 campaign following his contract extension.

Simon made his professional debut with the Dragons in 2010 before joining Wakefield Trinity in 2015, where he made 44 appearances in two-years. He re-joined the French side ahead of the 2017 season.

On the extension, he told the club’s official website: “I’m really happy to sign a new contract and to stay here for the next two seasons. My family and I really love the club and I’m grateful to the board and the staff for having faith in me.”
