McNamara linked with Warriors role

Ex-England coach Steve McNamara could be set to join Stephen Kearney’s coaching staff at NRL side the Warriors.

McNamara has another year on his contract as an assistant at the Sydney Roosters.

But according to the Stuff.co.nz website, the Englishman is being lined up to join the Warriors.

This week Kearney has replaced Andrew MacFadden as head coach of the NRL club.

Kearney is replacing current Warriors assistants Justin Morgan and Andrew Webster, with MacFadden getting one of the positions and Stacey Jones the other.
