Leeds Rhinos captain Danny McGuire could be out for the next two months as he recovers from a knee injury.

McGuire tore his medial collateral ligament in his knee in Thursday night’s loss to Warrington.

The Rhinos confirmed that the halfback will out of action for between six to eight weeks.

McGuire will the World Club Challenge match against the North Queensland Cowboys in just two weeks time.
