Leeds stand-off Danny McGuire has been banned for their Super League clash against Wakefield on Monday.

McGuire, 29, picked up a one-match suspension after being found guilty of making dangerous contact with Bradford’s Brett Kearney last Friday.

He was also fined £300 after pleading not guilty to the Grade B offence when he appeared before the RFL Disciplinary Committee, which took into consideration his previous good record.

Wakefield back-rower Ali Lauitiiti was banned for using his knees in a tackle on Huddersfield’s Leroy Cudjoe, while Tony Puletua was banned for a match following his red card against Catalan on Friday.

Hunslet’s David March and South WalesCourtney Davies were also handed one-match suspensions, after submitting early guilty pleas.
