McAvoy pens new Haven deal

Whitehaven centre Scott McAvoy has signed a new one-year deal with the West Cumbrian outfit.

McAvoy, who scored 11 tries in all competitions in 2011, featured for Cumbria against England in 2010 where he scored a try in the 16-16 draw at The Recreation Ground.

Haven continue to assemble their squad for 2012 despite the fact that new Head Coach, Australian Don Gailer, has yet to arrive in West Cumbria.
