Hull winger Matty Dawson-Jones has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury.
Dawson-Jones, 28, suffered the injury in training on Thursday, less than a week after making his debut for the club.
The close season signing from Leigh scored a try in the defeat at Hull KR
Coach Lee Radford said: “Matty is done for the year. I had a really tough conversation today and I really feel for him.
“He needs to keep his head up, get his rehab right, and he’ll come back stronger.”
Dawson-Jones started his career at Huddersfield and has also played for Doncaster, St Helens and Rochdale.
