Marum confirmed as Kumuls’ World Cup coach

Papua New Guinea will be coached by Michael Marum at the 2017 World Cup, it has been confirmed.

PNGRFL chairman Sandis Tsaka told media in the Pacific nation that the governing body’s board had ratified the appointment at a recent meeting.

Marum led the Kumuls to a win in the Pacific Test with Fiji in May.

PNG is set to host World Cup matches in 2017, and will play the USA plus two European qualifiers at the country’s National Football Stadium.
