Marshall eyeing Super League spell

St George-Illawarra Dragons half-back Benji Marshall is considering a move to Super League after 2016.

The Kiwi pivot might also consider a move to Japanese rugby union in a bid to further his career.

The 30-year-old’s manager Martin Tauber feels that his client can probably play for two years after next season.

“We’ve talked about another two years after 2016,” Tauber told foxsports.com.au.

“He might change his mind and want to do one year or go to England or Japan.

“In fairness we’d certainly go to the Dragons first and give them the opportunity to take him on if they wished.

“We’ll consider all of those opportunities during that time-frame.”
