Mark Percival sidelined with injury

St Helens centre Mark Percival is set to miss up to four weeks of action after picking up a minor muscle strain in the win over Castleford Tigers.

The 26-year-old left the field mid-way through the first half and did not return as his side claimed a 10-0 victory at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

He is expected to miss between two to four weeks of action, and St Helens have confirmed that he will definitely miss their clash against Hull KR on Sunday, August 30.

Head coach Krisitian Woolf said: “He has a minor strain. It is only going to be somewhere around two to four weeks, and we will obviously give it every bit of time it needs because he needs to play as much as he can for us this year.”

Dominique Peyroux and Joseph Paulo are both expected to be available for their next game.
