Championship Player of the Year Mark Kheirallah has signed a contract extension with Toulouse for the 2019 campaign.

On Tuesday night, the France international picked up the 2018 Championship Player of the Year award after a remarkable season in the blue and white.

His impressive performances this season have attracted plenty of interest from Super League clubs, but Kheirallah has decided to stay at Olympique by signing a new deal with the club.

On extending his stay at Toulouse, Kheirallah said: “Winning this award is a huge accomplishment in my career and a great honour.

“I love Toulouse and I like TO, it is an individual award but it rewards a collective effort and I thank my team-mates for that.

“I’m very excited to stay here and continue to get the Toulouse Olympique to great heights.”

On Kheirallah’s contract extension, Toulouse chairman Bernard Sarrazain said: “In addition to being a very nice boy, Mark is a great player.

“It contributes greatly to the good results of the club since he was here.

“The prize is deserved, I wish him the best and above all, he remains with us much longer.”
