Featherstone Rovers coach Jon Sharp has named his 19-man squad for the weekend’s clash with Batley on Sunday.

Scott Turner, Frankie Mariano and Michael Knowles were all back in contention for the match, with Turner and Knowles having been injured, and Mariano suspended.

Forwards Knowles and Mariano are included in the squad, while Turner must wait a while longer for his return.

“Having Frankie, Michael and Scott back in the frame is great for us going into the Batley game,” said Sharp.

“It keeps competition for places high and gives me a selection headache, one which any coach would welcome.

“We are preparing well for the game. It will be another massive test for the boys, Batley are coming into it off the back of a big win over Halifax.

“But we are going to be ready too. The boys love fixtures like this and the squad is beginning to look healthy again.”

Richard Moore is included in the squad, despite being expected to be out for one or two weeks with a quad strain.
