Keighley player-coach Paul March and Workington prop Jamie Thackray have been banned for two games each for abusing match officials.

March was found guilty of using foul and abusive language towards a match official during their Championship defeat to Featherstone on March 7th.

Thackray was found guilty of the above, as well as using aggressive body language towards a match official, during Workington’s game against York on March 10th.

The pair were also fined £50 by the RFL Disciplinary Committee, in the latest instance of a clamp down relating to respect for match officials.

Meanwhile, Hull KR academy player Ryan Devaney was banned for four games, after using foul and abusive language and questioning the integrity of a match official in a game against Warrington on March 2nd.
