Salford have handed utility back Marc Sneyd a new two-year deal, keeping him at the club until 2015.

Sneyd, 22, came through the junior set-up at the Reds and has scored 94 points in 13 appearances this season.

He said: “I’m really pleased to have signed this extended deal, I have been at Salford a long time now and I want to be here while all this exciting stuff is going on.”

“It’s going to be a very exciting couple of years at Salford. Brian Noble has come in and it’s been excellent working with him. He’s a great coach.

“It’s been really easy dealing with the Club to get this sorted out and I’m excited about what I can achieve here in the next couple of seasons.”
