Mantellato return from injury put on hold

Hull Kingston Rovers will have to live without their star winger Josh Mantellato for a little longer after learning he is to be out for a further six weeks.

Mantellato has been troubled with injuries all season long, making just three appearances in 2016, and not playing in the first team since breaking his arm in the 22-20 Good Friday defeat to Hull FC

According to the Hull Daily Mail, Rovers were hoping to welcome the return of the Italian international in the next fortnight in either of the games against Catalans Dragons or Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, but the winger has suffered a setback in his recovery.

However, it is believed that Mantellato is to still be six weeks away from a return, and the Robins are looking towards the final three games of the regular season before the split for a predicted return for the 29 year-old.
