Manly Sea Eagles interested in Kenny Edwards – reports

Manly Sea Eagles are set to swoop in for Catalans star Kenny Edwards ahead of the 2019 campaign.

According to The Mole, the Sea Eagles are preparing to make an offer to Edwards for 2019.

Edwards joined the Dragons midway through the 2018 season and helped them lift the Challenge Cup at Wembley.

But his impressive displays for Catalans have caught the eye of Manly, who he played for before being sacked in 2008.

Edwards then moved to Parramatta Eels, where he became one of the best back-rowers in the NRL, before being released following a number of off-field incidents.

It is understood that Catalans are determined to keep Edwards, who joined the club on a one-year-a-half-year contract back in May.

The Sea Eagles are on the lookout for forwards though after losing Lewis Brown, Shaun Lane and Darcy Lussick.
