Manly name WCC squad

Manly have named a 20-man squad ahead of this Friday’s World Club Challenge game against Leeds Rhinos at Headingley Carnegie Stadium (8.00pm).

The Sea Eagles arrived in England on Saturday and coach Geoff Toovey has named a strong line-up to take on the Rhinos in Friday’s World title decider, which will see the two teams contest the World Club Challenge for a second time in only four years.

It was Manly who were victorious by 28-20 when the sides clashed in 2009 and the Sea Eagles have named nine survivors from that victory in their 20-man squad, including former St Helens star Jamie Lyon.
