Manchester City star Benjamin Mendy shows his support for Catalans

Manchester City and France ace Benjamin Mendy has gotten right behind Catalans Dragons ahead of their Challenge Cup final.

Mendy, who won the FIFA World Cup with France this summer, has shown his support for Catalans Dragons ahead of their trip to Wembley on Saturday.

The Dragons will attempt to win their first ever major trophy on Saturday when they face Warrington Wolves in the Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium, 3pm kick-off.

Mendy pledged his support to Catalans and France rugby league international Ben Garcia with the following tweet:

Mendy, who won the Premier League with City last season, isn’t the only high-profile Frenchman to get behind the Dragons this week.

France president Emmanuel Macron also spoke highly of the Dragons and shown his full support ahead of the Challenge Cup final.
