The Man of Steel points from the opening round of Super League have been revealed.

A member of the Man of Steel panel will watch each Super League game in 2020 and award points to three standout players: three points for their man of the match, two points for the runner-up, and one point for their third-ranked player.

Wigan full-back Bevan French earned the plaudits in the Super League opener on Thursday, while St Helens favourite Jonny Lomax and Hull KR’s four-try man Ben Crooks took maximum points from Friday’s games.

On Saturday, Huddersfield’s marquee man Aidan Sezer stole the show and claimed the three points. Castleford’s young gun Jake Trueman and Hull back-rower Andre Savelio were the standout players on Sunday.
