Man of Steel 2022: Tui Lolohea now joint-top alongside Jai Field

Huddersfield’s Tui Lolohea is now joint-top of the Man of Steel leaderboard alongside Wigan’s Jai Field with 19 points.

The Giants full-back earned two more Man of Steel points following the club’s 30-16 home victory over Leeds Rhinos. Team-mate Danny Levi received three points, taking his total tally to 11 for the season. Despite the defeat, forward Bodene Thompson earned his first point of the season.

Salford 12-30 Wigan

Hat-trick scorer Bevan French was rewarded with three Man of Steel points following his impressive performance at the AJ Bell Stadium. It doubles his total to six for the season so far.

Challenge Cup hero and half-back Harry Smith earned two points, scoring a try on the day. England back-rower Liam Farrell received one.

Catalans 36-8 Hull

Mitchell Pearce continues his fine form in his debut season in Super League and received three more points on the Man of Steel leaderboard. He sits next best behind the leaders with 15. So far this season, he has scored nine tries and assisted six more.

Catalans captain Ben Garcia earned two points, while England full-back Sam Tomkins gets one.

Toulouse 14-20 Castleford

Ryan Hampshire received his first points of the season, earning the maximum of three following their win in Toulouse in hot conditions. Hooker Paul McShane earned two and the remaining one went to back-rower Kenny Edwards.

St Helens 26-18 Hull KR

James Roby topped off his record-breaking 455th Super League appearance with three more Man of Steel points. The St Helens captain scored a try on his milestone day and continues to prove to be the best in the competition. Try-scorer and winger Tommy Makinson earned two more points – taking his tally 12 for the year. Hull KR full-back Lachlan Coote scored a brace on his return to the Totally Wicked Stadium and picked up one point.

Wakefield 30-24 Warrington

Jacob Miller took his tally for the season to five with three more Man of Steel points. He played a vital role in their win over Warrington – handing them their fifth straight defeat.

Scoring twice on the day, James Batchelor earned two Man of Steel points and despite his side’s defeat, Stefan Ratchford picked up one.
