Maitua banned for one game

Reni Maitua of Salford Red Devils has been banned for one match for making a Grade B dangerous throw on Jake Emmitt of Leigh Centurions in the Qualifiers fixture played at AJ Bell Stadium on Saturday.

Maitua pleaded guilty and was also fined £300.

Two more players have been suspended after submitting Early Guilty Pleas (EGP):

Dale Bloomfield (Rochdale Hornets) – loses right to submit an EGP for next 12 months for Grade A punching v North Wales Crusaders.

Scott Turner (North Wales Crusaders) – one-match suspension for Grade B punching v Rochdale Hornets.
