Dear Love Rugby League,

Who’s the baboon running rugby league?

Making Catalan pay half a million pounds to enter the Challenge Cup is the biggest joke ever. Whoever thought of that needs sacking.

We’ve made all these changes and there is nothing to show for it.

Even the crowds at games are going down, it’s a bad deal with Sky.

Can you not see clubs are starting to go under because there’s no attraction for people to come to games?

It’s always the big clubs getting bigger without thought for other clubs, if this carries on you the big clubs will not have teams to play against, think about it.

Editor’s comment: “The most telling point of Chris’ letter is the “we’ve made all these changes and there is nothing to show for it”. One of my favourite articles of recent times was when I looked back at 2004 and where rugby league was, and you would find it difficult to argue that the game is in a better place now than it was then. We’ve been mucking around with the wrong things for too long.”
