Dear editor,

So how does a draw figure in the Super League when the table is decided on a percentage basis? Is a draw “half a win”?

In any event, as we can have a draw, what is the issue with a draw after 80 minutes of play? Why do we have to endure a chaotic shambles of a “dropgoalathon” – is that rugby league that we want to see – 5 drives and a scuffed kick attempt?

If the powers that be want more entertainment, at least let extra time be decided by a try – reduce the teams to 10 a side if we want “entertainment”. You can guess I’m not a fan of extra time.

Editor’s comment: Firmly in your camp on this one, Paul. Absolutely nothing wrong with the draw, and I’m not sure what a 10 minute period of endless drop goal attempts does for anyone.
