Catalans should not be in Super League. Yes their home support is good, mind you many away side’s supporters make a holiday of it.

Just what do Catalans bring to your club?

Let’s see how many make the return trip to Wigan or any other away game.

They get to play home games on a Saturday. No Monday, Thursday or Friday home games.

London are newly promoted and the RFL make them play Hull KR on a Thursday night. Money lost for London in my opinion.

Level playing field, my ass.

Editor’s comment: I don’t think you can question what Catalans bring to Super League, I think a bigger issue is why their inclusion hasn’t been expanded on. A second French team, perhaps? The France national team hasn’t progressed despite Catalans’ presence. It’s a fair comment about their home games not being compromised though, certainly makes it easier to develop a fanbase and increase attendances.
