Magic Weekend preview: Catalan v Huddersfield

Matthew Crosby

Catalans are the bookies’ favourites as they square up against Huddersfield Giants, but recent form makes the 4/7 on offer a far from convincing bet.

The Dragons are trying to avoid a fifth straight loss, which includes an embarrassing 62-0 Challenge Cup loss to Hull at the KCOM.

Hence why it would be naïve to write off the 11/8 underdogs, who picked up a great win at Headingley late in April.

They may be suffering from a lack of match fitness having missed out on any Challenge Cup action last week, but Huddersfield should be able to see out an EVS +4 head start in the handicap betting in this tight game.
