Luke to miss three matches

South Sydney‘s finals charge has suffered a blow after hooker Issac Luke was suspended for three matches.

Luke pleaded guilty to a grade two dangerous throw at the NRL judiciary following his tackle on Roosters player Shaun Kenny-Dowall on Monday night.

Luke was hit with 341 points and will miss the Rabbitohs’ next three matches.

“Obviously Issac is disappointed with the outcome but he’s continually working hard on his defence, as is the whole squad, and they will continue to do so,” said Rabbitohs head coach Michael Maguire.

“He’ll focus on his return in round 23 against the Sea Eagles and we look forward to getting him back on the field then.”
