Luke Gale reveals the player he is most looking forward to watching in 2020

Luke Gale has lauded the big signings in Super League this season – but there is one particular name that he is excited about.

And that man is James Maloney of Catalans. The Australia and New South Wales representative has linked up with the Dragons on a three-year deal.

Gale said: ” There is a massive amount of talent in Super League this year. We’ve got Sonny Bill, James Maloney, Gareth Widdop – the players just roll off my tongue.

“It is the most eagerly anticipated Super League season I have been involved with. I can’t wait for it to start.

“I’m excited to see Jimmy Maloney, I’ve heard a lot of stories about him from being in the England set up. He’s good mates with Sam Burgess. He is one hell of a character and is a top player.

“I watched him closely in Origin last year so I’m excited to see what Jimmy can do. He’s a great player and one that I’ve watched for a few years.”
