Luke Briscoe to play for Leeds this weekend

Leeds have drafted in winger Luke Briscoe to replace Ryan Hall, who was ruled out for the season earlier this week.

Briscoe, 24, played and scored a try for Featherstone against Batley in the Championship Shield, and will now feature in The Qualifiers against London Broncos.

He has scored 35 tries in 28 appearances this season, including two in four games for Leeds, who he joined on loan back in June.

Joining him in Kevin Sinfield’s 19-man squad is Stevie Ward, after he passed his return to play protocol from concussion, and Jack Walker, who has recovered from a hamstring injury.

Missing is prop Dom Crosby, who starts a two match-ban.

The Rhinos kickstarted their Qualifiers campaign last weekend with a win over Toulouse, while the Broncos recorded a surprise 21-20 win at Widnes.

Leeds 19-man squad: Golding, T Briscoe, Sutcliffe, Moon, Myler, Cuthbertson, Singleton, Jones-Buchanan, Ablett, Ward, Dwyer, Mullally, Keinhorst, Ferres, Peteru, Walker, Oledzki, Walters, L Briscoe.
